Temporary Crisis Accommodation

Rooms Connect is a means of giving directly to support homeless people in your local area.Rooms Connect leverages the successful but thus far informal system which Sydney Homeless have employed to provide temporary rooms for in the main young families caught without a roof in the Sydney area.Contacts in the travel accommodation industry have quietly met most of the need which we have identified for short term crisis accommodation.

Sadly there has been a steady growth in the number of young parents and families displaced by current government policies and market conditions. We are completely unfunded.100% of the amount you donate goes to house a homeless person (usually a homeless family, exceptionally a single homeless person).

..so we are giving you the opportunity to help us prevent families with kids from having to sleep out, because they cannot afford accommodation. Please help.Children should not be left to sleep on the streets.

We have evolved plans which empower accommodation providers and the public to help provide
